Miss World South Sudan, Nyandeng Kerubino Kuanyin Bol, is set to represent the country at the 75th Anniversary Edition of the Miss World competition in Vietnam.
Nyandeng will join contestants from across the world for the
international pageant, which will take place from 9 August to 5 September.
The event focuses not only on beauty but also on leadership,
purpose, and social impact through programmes such as the “Beauty with a
Purpose” initiative.
On Monday, Nyandeng met with President Salva Kiir in Juba,
where she received encouragement and support for her international journey.
President Kiir congratulated her on the opportunity to
represent South Sudan and urged her to showcase the country’s culture,
diversity, resilience, and the strength of its people.
Kiir encouraged Nyandeng to remain confident and
disciplined, saying her participation represents the hopes and aspirations of
many South Sudanese, especially young women.
Nyandeng will join other contestants in cultural events and
humanitarian activities during the Miss World festival.
She hopes to promote South Sudan’s culture, inspire young
people, and represent the country with leadership and compassion.
Her participation highlights South Sudan’s growing presence on the global pageant stage.
